The Change-Over Station CO2 features a variable speed gearbox, a robust double-beam accumulator, a newly designed Scissor Cable Cutter that stops accurately for cut-to-length, and reliable cutting for internally printed cable. We have also eliminated the flying cutter, added larger capstan wheels, and correct wire lengths are always fed to the Take-Ups with no slip-back.<\/p>\n<p>An operator can quickly and easily load a cable reel to start the string-up process.<\/p>\n<p>Change Over Station for measuring (displaying) the length, holding, and feeding of the cable in synchronization with the caterpillar capstan. After reaching the set length, the take-up will stop, the cable cut, and fed out another length so the cable can be attached to the second take-up.<\/p>\n<p>Our heavy-duty Cable Clamp helps make cold welds and changeovers a seamless procedure.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Belt-type Capstan to allow for feeding cable during the changeover. <\/strong><em>*Belt-type capstan can be excluded from the order.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Wheel-type Length Counter L2<\/strong><br \/>\nMax Cable diameter: 50 mm (2&#8243;)<br \/>\nAccuracy: <u>+<\/u>\u00a00.1%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wheel-type Feeder Capstan<\/strong><br \/>\nThe cable is fed by wheels. A cable will be put between the belts by the operator. After activation, the belts will clamp the cable. After this, the cable can be jogged to either take-up. Once the cable is attached to the take-up reel and the machine is started in Auto mode, the feeder capstan will be disengaged after approximately one wrap of cable around the wheel. Switching the speed control of the accumulator and E-stop circuit depends on the take-up that is running. The displayed length is reset after the full length has been reached.
